The picture above shows a historic building in downtown Moscow, a hundred meters from where I was born and spent first 14 years of my life. Later I graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute. The 16 years of my professional career in the USSR I shared equally between a scientific research at the Institute for Problems in Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences, and teaching mechanics at Moscow Institute for Instrument Engineering.
Since 1991 I work as a Research Engineer at Plasma Science and Fusion Center, MIT. Do all kinds of calculations. Prefer something that requires creating multiparametric multidisciplinar models. Something like "thermo-hydro-acousto-electro-magneto-elasto-mechanic".
